Funding Essential Services and Infrastructure Needs
Since taking office in 2013, Councilman Ken Smith has been a leading advocate for increased funding of essential services and infrastructure needs to better support a growing and thriving City. As a result, the City's road paving budget has more than quadruple since he was first elected in 2013, allowing long overdue projects like Northpoint Blvd, Webb Road, Lake Resort Drive and many others to be completed.
"When I speak with constituents, they always emphasize a need for better roads, and I agree. I commit to continue to work for city budgeting and prioritization for district 3. Since taking office, the paving budget has quadrupled, in part, due to my advocacy. My plan is to continue to push this as a priority for our district." |
